Hundreds of poems later, LaMon is now an award-winning author who was recently appointed associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and was selected as a 2019 BAU Institute Fellow.

But Hagan is active outside of her work at ºüÀêÊÓÆµ. She's an educator, performer, author of two poetry collections, and now an author of a young-adult novel.
